Although they don’t live in a den, the ‘Hibernating Drunk’ is similar to the black bear because neither one drinks for a long period of time while ‘hibernating’. The ‘Hibernating Drunk’ can go a month or longer without drinking alcohol during their ‘hibernation’ state. But once awaken, they go all out and drink all they can. That’s right, they just get hammered. After that, they hibernate again.
